Historians at Work series

The ANU Humanities Research Centre and the National Library of Australia present Historians at Work, a series of discussions featuring prominent Australian historians.
Three events will be held in 2012, either in the National Library or the Humanities Research Centre, from 4 to 6 pm. These are free and open to everyone, but bookings should be made in advance.
The Historian’s Boots
The Historian’s Boots event will test the dictum that ‘historians need a good pair of boots’, as three well-travelled historians, Mark McKenna, Maria Nugent and Peter Stanley, discuss the topic in a panel style discussion.
Date: Thursday 11 October 2012
Time: 4:00pm- 6:00pm
Location: Humanities Research Centre, Sir Roland Wilson Building, ANU
Bookings: 02 6262 1271 or events.nla.gov.au
